Day 241: Laura got me a beautiful owl ring today to match my dress for my interview - I love it! Thank you Laura! :)
I have spent my entire evening writing, editing, tweaking and practicing my presentation for Thursdays interview. Almost there…I think, a final once over tomorrow after work and then I’m not going to look at it again until the journey down.
Only one more day at work :) yay! Can’t wait to see my Gillard and then my Fletch and then my Jay and then my Jed and then my Matt. And then Paris - I’m very excited for that!

Day 240: Another 2lb off tonight - winning! 12 1/2 off in total now YAY! And to celebrate I ate some leftovers and did some work on my presentation…not sure that’s really a celebration to be honest.
Although I did finish season 1 of Hart of Dixie, intriguing finale…I’ll say no more!
Pretty sure my main reason for losing weight is the obscene amount of strawberries I’ve eaten over the past few days. They’re in season and ah-maz-ing!
Only two more days at work until my exciting week and a half begins! :)

Day 239: Today has been glorious, Samantha and I have spent the day, with Jenny, sitting and baking in her back garden. This has been my view all day, apart from the half hour we spent sorting out bits for the wedding (TWO WEEKS TO GO!) which we sped through in order to get back outside.
I have loved this weekend, it’s been full of sunshine and lovely company!
I don’t want to go back to work tomorrow :(
Having too much fun in the sun so belated Day 238: Yesterday I dropped the boy off at Sam and Sam’s then promptly stole Samantha and we headed on an impromptu trip to Haworth.
It was LOVELY! The weather, the place itself (I love Haworth) and the people! During a spot of afternoon tea sitting in the sun Sam and I got talking to a lovely elderly couple who live not too far from Samantha. So cute!
When we got back to mine we got a bit giddy on pimms, fizzy pink and woo woo - and had we have had the funds we’d have been out in Revs and Camel with the best of them. But instead we stayed in, did a soap and glory face mask and watched the UK lose horrendously at the 2012 Eurovision.
Lovely night :)

Day 237: Jay and I skived off work today to play in the sun (with their permission…) and after a LOVELY lay in this morning we wandered to town and had a meander. A meander which involved a rather substanial amount of random food…a solero, chips, a milkshake and a meal deal. Strange what the heat does to people.
After our wander we sat in the park for a bit and, well, we burnt! Ha! Whilst burning (SO wearing sun cream tomorrow!) we planned our dinner, we decided on a nice chicken salad with strawberries and fizzy pink for afters.
This decision however meant we needed to go food shopping, as I had none of the above in (apart from the fizzy - come on, my mum brought me up proper!) so it was off to Sainsbury’s…via a major detour to Starbucks on the M62 Services.
I finally got one of the cookie crumble mocha dealies - and OMG YUM (insert Emma Stone face from Easy A here)!
Then our hunt for salad began…the big Sainsbury’s near us - no dice, same with the co-op. All was going wrong, we decided to cut our losses and change our dinner plans to chicken with baby potatoes and peppers in balsamic dressing. All was well, then on a whim Jay stopped at the Sainsbury’s local - a SALAD WIN! So all was well…and weird - it’s weird how chuffed we were to find salad. Never thought I’d see the day…Jay was tempted to stock up on salad when he found some. Odd.
Anyway, the remainder of our Friday had involved eating our salad (SCORE!) and watching Russell Howard, a bit of Michael McIntyre and finally watching The Change Up. A good film with a slightly abrupt end though - but you can never have too much Ryan.
Tomorrow the boys are off to play stag do for Samuel. So Samantha and I get to play all day! :) Not sure what we’ll do yet…play in the sun I hope, although she gets married in like 2 weeks (ONG 2 weeks!) so sun cream will be definitely at the ready!! :)

Belated Day 236: Last night Jay came home :) yay! Prior to that I watched more Hart of Dixie and that was pretty much it! Ha - oh the life I lead!
Did get asked to go down to London for an interview on Thursday next week though, so I’ll now be in London from Thursday till Tuesday before Paris. Means I’m off work from the 31st till the 12th…that’s a happy accident :)

Day 266: I am a tad obsessed with Hart of Dixie at the moment. Been watching it pretty much non stop all week - its got to that part of the season where you’re really invested in the characters and watching it is more important than sleeping….
I know this is a variant of a photo that had been used A LOT but look how pretty the light is - and the tulips from Ian and Lisa’s wedding still look beautiful! :)

Day 265: Tonight has been a night of sitting - I was meant to do some exercise…there’s always tomorrow I suppose!
I did however have the amazing dinner from last night again. Cod, vegetables and Birds Eyes Rice Infusion Mediterranean GORGEOUSNESS! OMG it’s amazing…do much so I bought more at Sainsbury’s today. Totally my new must have freezer item! And there’s only 2.5 syns - yay!
In 100 days I’ll have hit my 365…scary!

Day 264: Tonights weather was gorgeous, so much so I enjoyed a relaxing walk to SW. Had a maintain today which means I have to work my butt off to get to my mini Paris target…bring on the super free food and exercise! Need some inspiration - so remind me to look at this picture every day!
I also napped tonight, totally needed that! And I still need more - night!
